Airport Diaries!


Airport! Not just a place of arrival and departure! But a place of stories! It’s not only about flights, but also about feelings…

It was just a usual day, where I happened to be at the airport to receive my sister and her family. The flight was almost delayed by few minutes, but for me those were enough to capture some beautiful moments to archive. There were kids and people around me to notice. There were smiles and laughter everywhere. But somewhere, sorrow was also seen hidden amidst them. Why shouldn’t it be? After all, some were departing away from their loved ones. Some were energetic while few could be seen tired. Some were carrying gifts while some were waiting with the name plates. The huge structure around was marvellous.
My eyes caught an elderly couple holding each other’s hands! Definitely they were waiting for their child. Their eyes were full of happiness and hopes, shining bright and were constantly trying to peep behind the partition glass so that they could spot their kid from the arrivals. Oh..What a feeling it was to see them. What charm they carried! Ever noticed…Happiness runs within us when we see happiness around! Alike them, there was a group of friends chatting amongst each other sharing stories and laughter while waiting for the arrival of their partner. Smile jogs around when we see such fun and frolic. There were partners waiting for their other halves with all the joy and love.
So many stories and so much of experiences! One cannot be deprived of happiness if lived with all the true spirit and enthusiasm. The day welcomes all with the same spirit. It is up to us how we accept it. I was truly grateful for that day for I could observe and learn what a ‘companion’ means! What position ‘feelings’ and ‘love’ beholds in our life. What ‘respect’ actually is! Just smile and observe. It is that simple. Share the happiness!

The Two Sides Of The Coin!

With some hopes and mixed feelings, there have always been circumstances when we need to see the other side of the coin. Rather, there appear two sides of each situation. Now at this phase, one’s thinking of remaining firm or being stuck to a point might sometimes not work well and might not even favour. Say for eg., if you conclude on someone on a point without knowing his situation sounds to be partial. Rather concluding on knowing the phase seems practical. Dad and Me...

Dad and Me! Of course! A tag team quite often. But definitely one of us becomes a game changer at times. He has always been a protagonist it seems. Till my concerns. I don’t think any kid would like to accelerate and move ahead his father, but rather would like to see him win. This remains vice versa too. A father is a superhero for the son. Mine is a Superman for me! I am a fan of the character. Just like both of them seem super strong, sturdy and what not. Mine can even fly! How’s that even possible? For me! Yes! He has been available whenever I needed him. No matter if I am miles away. It’s not only for me but for the family either. A mentor. A solution always available! No need to give a try!
